Program Description
Indian Red Cross Society Bhadohi branch organized a Yoga Utsav program in the branch office Gyanpur under the 11th International Yoga Day program. The program was inaugurated by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Santosh Kumar Chak, Dr. Ghanshyam Das Gupta Nagar Panchayat President, District Information Officer Dr. Pankaj Kumar by lighting the lamp. Yoga teacher Shri Amit Prakash started yoga practice with Pranayam. Throwing light on the importance of Pranayam, he practiced Bhastrika, Kapalbhati, Bahya, Anulom Vilom, Bhramari Pranayam. Under Yogasana, Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Padhastasan Trikonasana, Veerabhadrasana, Ardha Chakrasana, Bhadrasana, Makarasana, Setubandhasana, breathing were practiced. In the end, Yoga Utsav was completed with meditation. Shri Amit Prakash said that life can be made healthy by doing yoga every day. Dr. Santosh Kumar Chak, Chief Medical Officer said that this program will definitely be beneficial. By practicing yoga daily and making it a part of life, it is possible to cure many diseases. Indian intellect has made a mark on the world stage through yoga. The world is accepting the importance of yoga. This effort of Red Cross Society Bhadohi is commendable. Secretary Dr. Bharatendu Dwivedi, while welcoming the guests, said that Shri Krishna has said in the Gita that Yogah Karmasu Kaushalam. All the tasks in life can be performed efficiently through yoga and yoga achieves efficiency in all tasks. Yoga is an essential part for a healthy society. On this occasion, Mr. Ramesh Chandra Tripathi welcomed Chief Medical Officer Dr. Santosh Kumar Chak by presenting a flower bouquet. Treasurer Harendra Pratap Singh welcomed yoga teacher Amit Prakash and Dr. Pankaj Kumar Information Officer by garlanding them. On this occasion, apart from Arvind Bhattacharya, Alok Gupta, Abhay Srivastava, Dr. R.N. Singh, Pramod Dubey, Mabud Khan, Alok Srivastava, Narendra Nath Pandey, Shitala Prasad Gupta, Amit Tiwari, Indramani Verma, Ramesh Pasi, Sunil Upadhyay, Kamlesh Gupta, Mrs. Urmila and other members, more than 50 people participated in the Yoga Utsav program.
