Program Description
The Indian Red Cross Society, Bhadohi branch, organized a free eye and health camp at its office on Old Tehsil Road, Gyanpur. District Magistrate Shailesh Kumar inaugurated the camp, stating that the Red Cross Society, Bhadohi, has organized this eye and health camp as part of its social service. Selected cataract patients will be operated on at Maharaja Chet Singh Hospital, Gyanpur. The Red Cross Society is continuously engaged in social service, and its efforts are commendable. Secretary Dr. Bharatendu Dwivedi highlighted the Red Cross's service and welcomed the District Magistrate, the team of doctors, and other guests. At the camp, 25 cataract patients were selected for surgery, and 140 were examined. Dr. Neelima Dhawan, Dr. Lakshmi Singh, Dr. P.K. Singh, Dr. Swapnil, Mr. Lalchand, Kumari Kanchan, and Mr. Ghanshyam examined the patients. The Red Cross Society, Bhadohi, provided free medicines to the patients. On this occasion, Treasurer Mr. Harendra Pratap Singh thanked everyone for making the camp a success. On this occasion, Additional Chief Medical Officer Dr. OP Shukla, District Information Officer Dr. Pankaj Kumar, Red Cross members Ramesh Chandra Tripathi, Ajit Prasad Pandey, Abdul Wahid Ansari, Arvind Bhattacharya, Abhay Srivastava, Kamal Kumar, Saurabh Jaiswal, Dr. RN Singh, Sarfaraz Alam, Pramod Dubey, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, and Dr. Alok Srivastava, NN Pandey, Dr. Ghanshyam Das Gupta, Pradeep Baghel, Vinod Kumar, Upasana Jaiswal, Mabud Khan etc. members were engaged in service work.
