(Deoria) Anganwadi workers and other women were honored by 'Indian Red Cross Society' Deoria on the occasion of International Women's Day at Gandhi Auditorium of Vikas Bhavan on Tuesday. On this occasion, District Magistrate Deoria, Ashutosh Niranjan ji (President-Indian Red Cross Society Deoria) said in his address that Indian women are seen as a powerful intervention in the scenario of New India. Chief Development Officer Ravindra Kumar said that women have an important contribution in making the nation developing and prosperous. During this, Deputy Chairman / District Secretary Akhilendra Shahi said that this institution mainly works for human service as well as coordination between the governments of all the countries of the world at the time of war and peace. From blood banks to various types of health and social services, this organization actively participates. At the beginning of the program, Secretary/Deputy Chairman Akhilendra Shahi honored Akanksha Committee President Neha Singh, Labor Officer Shashi Singh, Chief Medical Officer Alok Pandey and Handicapped Welfare Officer by giving them clothes and bouquets.
