Today, on 8/5/24, on the occasion of World Red Cross Day, under the joint aegis of Indian Red Cross Society Fatehpur and Dr. Satyanarayan Seva Foundation, blood donation was organized under the leadership of Chairman Dr. Anurag Srivastava, keeping in mind the spirit of this year's theme "Keeping Humanity Alive". A blood donation camp was organised. The blood donation camp was inaugurated by the chief guest, District Magistrate, Smt. The chief guest and special guest, Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Prabhakant Singh, was decorated with a badge and presented with a bouquet. Also, on the occasion of World Thalassemia Day, the District Magistrate along with Krishna, a child suffering from Thalassemia, cut a cake and fed it to the child and presented a gift to the child. Then the blood donors Was honored with a citation. Blood donors included 10 people including Dr. Nishat Shahabuddin, District Tuberculosis Officer, Praveen Singh, Pawan Kumar, Himanshu Srivastava. On this occasion, Indian Red Cross Society Vice Chairman Dr. Razia Sultana, Secretary Ajit Singh, life member Dr. Kaushal from the Indian Red Cross Society Blood Center Committee including VK Choudhary, Sanjay Srivastava, Raja Singh, Suresh Srivastava, Abhinav Srivastava, Gorelal, Bhaktdas, Ramgopal Kashyap, Vivek Kumar, Punitveervikram, Kalpana Singh, Manish Kumar, blood center in-charge Dr. Chandravati, Dr. Anirudh Maurya. Srivastava, Deepali Verma, Swati Bhadauria, Akhilesh Kumar, Pooja Tiwari, Brijkishore Subhash Marya, Raju Kaithwas were present.
