Hygiene kits distributed among the needy people on Red Cross Day

As per the instructions of District Magistrate/President Red Cross Ballia and under the leadership of Red Cross Ballia Chairman Sanjay Gupta, members of the Indian Red Cross Society distributed hygiene kits among 50 needy women and girls in Haibatpur Gram Sabha of the city. Let us tell you that Red Cross celebrates 8th May as Red Cross Day all over the world. On this day, Henri Donat, the founder of the Red Cross, was born.

During this, Red Cross Chairman Sanjay Gupta said that our organization continuously works to provide relief to the needy and helpless people in the society. Patron Member/DSO District Hospital, Dr. Abhishek Mishra, along with giving detailed information about the Red Cross, also made the people aware to take precautions and avoid the effects of the current severe heat wave.

Professor Dr. Ramesh Rai of TD College said that Red Cross is the largest human service organization in the whole world and keeps organizing many programs in the society to bring smile on the faces of the people.

During this, the guests present were also honoured.

Mainly Chairman Sanjay Gupta, patron member Dr. Abhishek Mishra, Dr. Ramesh Rai, social worker Dinesh Rai etc. were present. Life member Ambarish Ojha conducted the proceedings and life member Nandini Singh expressed gratitude to the guests and women present.
