Plantation Day which is celebrated all over the world on 21st March. The purpose behind celebrating the said day is to make people aware about the importance of planting trees and help them realize it. It is a common practice during Plantation Day to plant saplings to invest in the future. About 500 saplings are planted every year by Red Cross Uttar Pradesh.
