Program Description
Today i.e. 25/06/2020 National Managing Body Meeting was conducted online through video confrencing. The meeting was presided over by Hon'ble Chairman Indian Red Cross Society / Hon'ble Health Minister Dr. HarshVardhan. The meeting was attended by the NMB member Dr. Himabindu Naik, General Secretary IRCS UP state Branch.
The meeting was started by paying homage to our former General Secretary IRCS-UP & Senior most longest National Managing Body Member *Dr. Shyam Swaroop* . All the dignitaries stood up at their place and kept 2 minutes silence.
After that Hon'ble Health Minister & Chairman RedCross Dr. HarshVardhan launched the #ebloodservicesApp to provide easy access of the blood and its components to the needy. He asked to increase the education and awareness activities to motivate people to come forward for Voluntary Blood Donation.
