Free medical camp organized under Red Cross Service Week
Mathura: Under the Red Cross Service Week organized by the Indian Red Cross Society Mathura branch on Thursday, S. located at Mahavidya Colony. N. Free medical consultation and check-up camp was organized at Dental Care and Polyclinic.
In this free medical camp, medical consultation and examination of 150 patients was done by Dr. Aadesh Sharma, Dr. Shafali Aggarwal, Dr. Chinmay Khandelwal and Dr. K.M. Mittal. In which diseases related to orthopedics, newborn and pediatric diseases, dental diseases and physiotherapy were examined and treated.
Chairman of Red Cross Society Mathura, Mahesh Khandelwal said that the coming 8th May is World Red Cross Day. Throughout this week, menstrual hygiene management workshops and distribution of sanitary napkins will be organized by the Red Cross Society in the girls' schools of the district.
Blood donation will be done under Red Cross awareness in all the blood banks of the district.
Seminars and blood donation camps will be organized in all medical colleges on blood donation awareness and Red Cross Day service work.
Free masks will be distributed in Vrindavan under the public awareness campaign to prevent communicable diseases among the crowd of pilgrims coming from outside.
Health check-up of children will be done in schools.
World Red Cross Day will be celebrated with pomp in the entire district on 8th May.
On this occasion, Deputy Chairman Vrishbhan Goswami, Rajeev Khandelwal, Shivshankar Gupta, Dr. SS Gautam, Dr. Neetu Goswami, Neeraj Khandelwal, Krishnamurari Khandelwal, Surendra Saxena, Ravi Khandelwal etc. were present.
