Blankets were distributed with the courtesy of Indian Red Cross Society Deoria in the Collectorate premises with the help of District Magistrate Deoria Mr. Akhand Pratap Singh, Superintendent of Police Mr. Sankalp Sharma and Additional District Magistrate Revenue Mr. Arun Rai.

While starting the distribution of blankets, the District Magistrate said that it is our endeavor that no person should face any inconvenience due to cold anywhere in the district and they should be provided with materials to protect themselves from the cold. He appreciated this program of the Red Cross Society. While saying that Red Cross always works in the public interest. Vice President of Indian Red Cross Society Uttar Pradesh, Shri Akhilendra Shahi said that the volunteers of Indian Red Cross Society Deoria are roaming in the entire district and identifying such poor people who need blankets. Have special needs and then preparations are being made and blankets are being distributed to them.
