Red Cross Society Ballia made people aware by distributing basil plants.

On Tuesday, 01/08/23 in the evening, in the premises of the Hanuman Temple located near Bapu Bhawan Town Hall of the city, under the leadership of Sanjay Kumar Gupta, Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society, Ballia, members of the Red Cross planted Tulsi in the temple premises. Sapling was planted and Tulsi plant was presented to the women present.
IRCS Ballia Chairman Sanjay Kumar Gupta ji said that Tulsi plant cleans the environment and Tulsi is also considered as the form of Goddess in Sanatan culture. It has been used as a medicine in Ayurveda for centuries, which is beneficial for health. It happens. Shyam Babu Rauniar, a lifelong member of Red Cross, said that sufficient amount of anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties are found in the Tulsi plant, which helps in fighting infection and strengthening immunity. Tulsi plants are also important from the spiritual point of view. It is considered to have special importance, it has medicinal as well as divine properties. Mainly Rekha Gupta, Suman Gupta, Shikha Kumari, Gudiya, Neha, Ramesh ji, Dilip ji and other members were present.
