Program Description
Officials of the Indian Red Cross Society, Mathura today contacted the flood relief camps set up at various places in Vrindavan. To know the needs and requirements of the refugees living in the camp. There are about seven hundred refugees living in Suvati Devi Kanya Vidyalaya, who are getting good arrangements by the district administration. Red Cross members also assured them of all possible help. Apart from this, contact was also made at the relief camp of Hazarimal Somani Inter College and Modi Bhawan. People told that the water level in their houses has reduced but it has not receded completely. Therefore, they should be allowed to stay in this camp for two to four more days. Vrishabhan Goswami, the Deputy Chairman of the Red Cross met the doctors and officials present there and thanked them for their help and proposed cooperation for providing the necessary arrangements from the Red Cross. Member Rajeev Khandelwal also provided financial help to some needy people. Ravi Khandelwal talked about meeting the requirement of relief materials at all places. Shikha Khandelwal, Lalit, Dr. SS Gautam, Aditya, etc. were present on this occasion.
