Independence Day Celebration – Indian Red Cross Society, Uttar Pradesh State Branch

On 15th August 2025, a flag hoisting ceremony was organized at the Indian Red Cross Society, Uttar Pradesh State Branch on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day. On this special occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society, Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Brajesh Pathak, inaugurated the program by hoisting the national flag.

After the flag hoisting, the Hon’ble Chairman extended his heartfelt greetings on Independence Day to all the distinguished guests, Red Cross members, volunteers, and the entire working staff present. He also paid tribute to the brave souls who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the nation.

While appreciating the services of the Red Cross, he encouraged everyone towards community service. He also made an appeal to all to pledge their individual contribution towards building a “Developed India” by the year 2047, and to keep working tirelessly in the interest of the nation.

The program also saw addresses by Mr. Ramanand Katiyar, General Secretary, and Mr. Arun Kumar Singh, Treasurer, who shared their thoughts and extended Independence Day greetings. All the speakers, while encouraging the spirit of patriotism, urged everyone to continue serving society through the Red Cross.
