As per the instructions of President, Indian Red Cross Society/District Magistrate Neha Prakash, a special camp series will be organized from May 15 to 20, 2023 to provide assistive devices to the elderly by the District Divyang Rehabilitation Center in collaboration with Amlico under Vayoshree and Adip Yojana for the disabled and senior citizens. being done. Under which today, on the third day of the camp, on Wednesday, the camp was organized at Vikas Khand Sirsia Auditorium, which was inaugurated by Hon'ble MLA Bhinga Indrani Verma by cutting the ribbon. A total of 511 Divyangs gave their measurements for assistive devices in this camp. During this, Hon'ble MLA inspected the entire camp and reviewed it.

On this occasion, the Honorable MLA said that the work being done for the disabled in the district in collaboration with the District Disabled Rehabilitation Center and ALIMCO Kanpur, run by the Indian Red Cross Society, is very commendable. After the completion of this work, all the disabled will get benefit. Due to the program being organized in all the development blocks, the disabled have not faced the problem of commuting. Even at the time of distribution of artificial limbs and accessories, it should be kept in mind that the disabled should not face any problem in movement.

On the other hand, Camp Coordinator and Red Cross Chairman Arun Mishra said that in this camp, a total of 511 Divyangs have been measured by the experts from ALMICO. There are still some disabled people left. The camp will be terminated only after whose measurements are taken.
